With 4 million tons of goods handled per year, the Port of Straubing is one of the most efficient freight traffic centres in southern Germany. Set up trimodally, our focus in the field of transhipment and logistics is on reinforcing water and rail. But it is not enough for us to set off for new shores with more environmentally friendly modes of transport. Rather, with our 12-hectare BioCampus, we want to offer anchorage ground for the raw material transformation and become the first address for innovations from the bioeconomy.
