CATCH A BREATH LebenSRaum Port 220 hectares of land with over 80 companies and thousands of employees are more than just working environments - they are always living spaces as well. Hand in hand with the official and voluntary nature conservation organizations and with our tenants and neighbours, we want to make the port area as natural and life-friendly as possible, true to the motto „LebenSRaum Port“. Various measures to enhance this quality are being implemented with the involvement of customers and the neighbourhood. Among the projects already implemented are a fruit tree nature trail, lizard habitats, harbour bees, insect hotels and nesting boxes, bee pastures, energy crops, tree, and bench sponsorships, and the annual „Clean Port“ trash collection campaign. This way, we manage to make the harbour livable for all who drop anchor here. For our efforts to protect species and biotopes, we have been awarded by the Bavarian Ministry of Environment as a „flourishing company“. Together with our customers, we want to use this award and our efforts to promote sustain­ ability, climate protection, and biodiversity. We are certain that economic success can and must be reconciled with social responsibility and ecological common sense.
